Troy Arent, founder of "Arent Mechanics" was born in Texas and grew up in Aurora, Nebraska. As a 16 year old Troy started working at the local Co-Op as a tire repair man. He went on to receive a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, but chose to work at a local diesel repair shop and has been employed there since 1992. He started Arent Mechanics in 2008 as a part-time business

Because we are only a part time service we "Arent" open when others are. Troy works full time in Lincoln and Arent Mechanics is his at-home business.
